Tahniah Sahabatku, Successfully Natural Birthing

7cm baru sampai hospital. Masuk LR dh 8cm, 17minit kemudian baby pon lahir...Alhamdulillah...tahniah superibu!

Petikan dari buku Hypnobirthing; 3

"When fear is not present, pain is not present. Fear causes the arteries leading to the uterus to constrict and become tense, creating pain. In the absence of fear, the muscles relax and become pliable, and the cervix is able to naturally thin and open as the body pulsates rhythmically and expels the baby with ease."

Insyaallah. You can do it mommy!

Kuruskan Badan...Pakai Corset/Gridle?

Bila preggy mesti la badan naik kan kan..same goes to me lah. Tang lengan, badan xnaik mana...tapi peha terasa lah lelemaks terkumpul...Sebab apa? Sebab bila jalan berlaga-laga peha ni hah! Tu jer trend-setting nak tau kalau badan ai naik...heheh...Ngeriiiii....Tak seksi beb. Mwahahahaha...

So time berpantang nanti harus lah kuruskan balik peha drumstick nih. Haiyooo tak mau lah peha gemuks cenggini, tak best lah nak jalan terasa2 peha berlaga.

Mak x mampoo nak beli PB bagai...lagipun xmau nanti hangat2 tahi hayam...beli mahal2 pakai kejap..membazir amalan syaiton kan...So alternatif lain, nak cari girdle yg ok ikut majoriti. Tanya kawan2, dorang suggest girdle cosway...Corset xpakai sebab badan xnaik, so nak kempiskan tummy and kecikkan peha that's why nak cari girdle jer...Hat Cosway cenggini punya...

Wahhh mantap kans?? Mihmihmih....sebelah  kanan tu corset cosway...ai nak Girdle dia jer...harga RM68 jangan riso mampu milik punya...Pls rajin2 pakai2 dan sapu krim mustajab super hot shila..kita kasi bakar itu lelemaks degil!

Can Raspberry Tea Leaf Help To Ease Labor?

Lepas tengok video Kak Sofia homebirth, berminat plak nak try Raspberry Tea Leaf. Tapi betul ke teh ni mempercepatkan labor? Ni yg dijumpai kat Babycentre. But for me, no harm to try kan...
Info ni dapat dari baby centre.

By Denise Tiran

Midwife, lecturer and complementary therapist.
It's hard to say for certain, because there is little research on the benefits of raspberry leaf tea. Raspberry leaf tea, also known as red raspberry leaf, is a herbal remedy. It's not the same as raspberry fruit tea.

Raspberry leaf tea is thought to tone the muscles of your uterus (womb) to help it work better during labour. The idea is not so much to speed up your labour, but to help it to progress at a nice, steady pace. Because raspberry leaf tea takes several weeks to accumulate in your body, it won't work to bring on labour if you are overdue.

Nobody knows how long your labour will last. Some mums-to-be have labours that are very long and slow. This is called failure to progress. It is one of the main reasons why you may need a caesarean section. One study did find that women who drank the tea regularly towards the end of their pregnancies had a shorter second, pushing stage of labour than those who didn't.

We do know that raspberry leaf should, like other herbal teas, be drunk in moderation. This is because the chemicals in raspberry leaf tea work their way through your body in the same way as a drug would.

Some doctors and midwives think it is not a good idea to take anything that might interfere with your labour. Our bodies are designed to give birth without any help. Trying to change the course of this natural process could be seen as just another way to induce or speed up your labour.

If you have already had a baby and your labour went smoothly first time around, there is no need for you to drink raspberry leaf tea for your next baby. The fact is that raspberry leaf tea is not right for everyone. Don't take it if:
  • you've already had a baby and your labour was very short, three or fewer hours from start to finish;
  • you're scheduled to have a planned caesarean for a medical reason;
  • you've had a caesarean before
  • you've had a premature labour before;
  • you've had vaginal bleeding in the second half of pregnancy.
It would also be wise not to drink raspberry leaf if:
If you do decide to try raspberry leaf tea, let your doctor know that you are planning to drink it. It will work best if you start taking the tea when you're about 32 weeks pregnant. This will give it enough time for it to build up in your body. Begin with one cup a day, gradually increasing to three cups. If you don't like the taste of the tea, you can buy raspberry leaf capsules or a raspberry leaf tincture in health food stores.

If you have strong Braxton Hicks contractions after drinking the tea, either stop drinking or cut the amount you drink.

During early labour, while you are at home, you can either sip hot tea or suck ice cubes made from the tea. You could also take a flask of the tea with you into hospital. Don't drink the tea if your labour is being induced or if you are having treatment with a hormone drip to speed up labour.

You may like to drink raspberry leaf tea after your baby is born. It's thought to:
  • boost your immune system, because of the vitamins and minerals it contains;
  • help your uterus to shrink back to its pre-pregnant shape;
  • fight infection, because it has antibacterial qualities.

Successful Story of Gentle Birth

I love reading story about Gentle Birth (GB).

Baca amazing story dia kat sini yer..KLIK

Best sangat baca pengalaman dia...rasa sangat enjoy waktu melahirkan tu...

Tapi, tidak lah sy nak homebirth..heheh banyakkk lagi ilmu tak cukup nak homebirth ni. Lagipun mampukah Pak Pais nak teman iols homebirth?kuikui...Course utk Gentle Birth pon susah nak attend. Jadinya, both of us pilih bersalin di hospital tapi trying for gentle and natural birth. Sebenarnya sangat susah nak cari gynae yang support Gentle Birth kat Malaysia ni...dan berdebar jugak nak discuss Birth Plan dengan Dr.Mazita sebab dari komen2 yg pernah consult dengan dia, Dr mazita not so into Gentle Birth ni. She's more on hospital procedure.

Kalau banyak yg dia tak agree, daku tekad akan tukar Gynae ke Dr.Fairuz Asyikin..sebab, schoolmate bersalin dengan Dr.Fairuz bulan Feb aritu. Dia pon last minute tukar gynae...surprisingly, Dr.Fairuz support gentle birth ni.

It's your body, It's your choice...not others. Cewahhh...Buku pasal hypnobirth yang dicari-cari selama ni akhirnya jumpa jugak...Dah order tengah tunggu sampai..tak sabar nak baca. Rupanya kat MPH ade jer stock.

Adehh pejam celik pejam celik ade lebih kurang 9-10minngu lagi nih...Rabbi Yassir Wala Tu'assir...Thummassabila Yassarohu....Moga dipermudahkan dan dilancarkan segala urusan melahirkan khalifah kecil ni nanti...

Note: Will share with you sample of Birth Plan/Preferences in next entry..

Potty Training

Ade beberapa kawan PM kat FB how i manage to Potty Training (PT) Myra...kehkehkeh
Walaupun sebenarnya ku rasa idak lah terlalu awal pon 2tahun 7bulan off-diapers tu tapi still considered boleh la sebab belum 3tahun lagi khennn..while ade yang masih belum berjaya PT anak2 sebaya Myra. meh nak citer kronologi sikit.

* Awalnya plan nak PT Myra mase dalam pantang nanti...tetiba mase gi Kulim aritu, sepupu Myra yg beza awal sebulan (boy) dah berjaya off-diaper. Ayah myra teruja lah tengok anak buah dia dah off-diaper sedangkan myra masih pakai diaper. So ayah dia cakap jom try train myra.

*Tak ingat cuti apa time tu cuti 4hari kot. Kami pon slowly lah tak pakai kan dia pempes. Okeh ni cara kami train Myra off-diaper yer (she successfully off-diaper within that 3-4days):-

1. Jangan pakaikan langsung pempes tu masa kita start nak PT. If mak pak still pakaikan pempes, ur toddler will still have the feeling that they can shee2 and poo2 dekat diaper tu, so bila nak berjaya PT nye? Ade member cakap anak dia suruh jugak pakaikan pempes, nangis2 nak pakai pempes. Aisehhh, jangan lah ikutkannn...ngengade aihh...ke den yg kejam.heheh so far myra takde plak beria nak pakai balik pempes dia.

2. Talk to your child, tell them yang kita nak start PT dorang. Anak uols pon ade feeling, tetiba jer korang suruh dia pegi toilet, kencing berak sendiri mestila dorang terkejut kann...walaupun dorang kecik lagi, amalkan perbincangan 2hala..cewahh. Cakap la baik2 dengan dorang, yg dia dah besar, tak perlu pakai pempes lagi...nak kencing, berak dekat toilet giteww. Kene tegas yer!

3. Start ajak dorang ke toilet tiap 15minit. Suruh dorang kencing jugak walaupon lame mencangkung. Bila cangkung dh lame sangat tu nan hado gak kencing baru lah ajak keluar. Then tingkat kan pulak ke 1/2jam pegi toilet, kita kene sentiasa tanye dia 'nak kencing tak, nak berak tak?' Awal2 tu mestila ade terbabas kan...Myra 2 kali terbabas trkencing. Ok lah dia pon tengah nak adapt dengan benda baru dalam hidup dorang mesti ade terlupa. Yang penting as parents kene cekal hati lah nak PT ni...jangan hangat-hangat tahi ayams. Biase lah kalau ade sesi terrr-rajin mop2 rumah tu kan..

4. Bila dorang nak tido (siang) make sure suruh dia kencing dulu sebelum tido. So far Myra tido siang xpenah terbabas shee2 time tido. Tido siang memang tak pakai pempes. Tido malam, ikut korang lah nak pakaikan pempes lagi atau kalau konfiden, tak payah pakaikan. Myra tido malam kami still pakaikan, sebab riso kene tilam sebab waktu tido yg lame kan. Tapi so far until now, bangun pagi pempes dia memang kering takde kencing langsung.

5. Kalau ibuk2 tengah preggy, elok sangat lah off-diapers ni sebelum korang bersalin. Mwehehehe..sebab senang nanti dh bersalin, si kakak/abang dah pass off-diapers. For me, kalau dh 2tahun tu boleh dah start berjinak-jinak PT ni...ko nak tunggu sampai umo berapa? 4tahun? Diaper pon dah takde size kak oi...

6. Selamat Maju Jaya okeh! Try set target within 4hari ke untuk PT ni..Kalau terlebih-lebih hari tu tak pee...at least dah cuba. Oh yer, kalau anak duduk kat taska/BS mintak kerjasama taska/BS jugak untuk melepaskan diapers. Alhamdulillah cikgu Myra sangat2 ok. Penah sekali terbabas katenye. Kalau yg family jaga, lagi lah senang. No excuse yer. You can do it! Chaiyokk!

Aisehhh, jangan lah ikutkannn...ngengade aihh...ke den yg kejam.heheh so far myra takde plak beria nak pakai balik pempes dia.

2. Talk to your child, tell them yang kita nak start PT dorang. Anak uols pon ade feeling, tetiba jer korang suruh dia pegi toilet, kencing berak sendiri mestila dorang terkejut kann...walaupun dorang kecik lagi, amalkan perbincangan 2hala..cewahh. Cakap la baik2 dengan dorang, yg dia dah besar, tak perlu pakai pempes lagi...nak kencing, berak dekat toilet giteww. Kene tegas yer!

3. Start ajak dorang ke toilet tiap 15minit. Suruh dorang kencing jugak walaupon lame mencangkung. Bila cangkung dh lame sangat tu nan hado gak kencing baru lah ajak keluar. Then tingkat kan pulak ke 1/2jam pegi toilet, kita kene sentiasa tanye dia 'nak kencing tak, nak berak tak?' Awal2 tu mestila ade terbabas kan...Myra 2 kali terbabas trkencing. Ok lah dia pon tengah nak adapt dengan benda baru dalam hidup dorang mesti ade terlupa. Yang penting as parents kene cekal hati lah nak PT ni...jangan hangat-hangat tahi ayams. Biase lah kalau ade sesi terrr-rajin mop2 rumah tu kan..

4. Bila dorang nak tido (siang) make sure suruh dia kencing dulu sebelum tido. So far Myra tido siang xpenah terbabas shee2 time tido. Tido siang memang tak pakai pempes. Tido malam, ikut korang lah nak pakaikan pempes lagi atau kalau konfiden, tak payah pakaikan. Myra tido malam kami still pakaikan, sebab riso kene tilam sebab waktu tido yg lame kan. Tapi so far until now, bangun pagi pempes dia memang kering takde kencing langsung.

5. Kalau ibuk2 tengah preggy, elok sangat lah off-diapers ni sebelum korang bersalin. Mwehehehe..sebab senang nanti dh bersalin, si kakak/abang dah pass off-diapers. For me, kalau dh 2tahun tu boleh dah start berjinak-jinak PT ni...ko nak tunggu sampai umo berapa? 4tahun? Diaper pon dah takde size kak oi...

6. Selamat Maju Jaya okeh! Try set target within 4hari ke untuk PT ni..Kalau terlebih-lebih hari tu tak pee...at least dah cuba. Oh yer, kalau anak duduk kat taska/BS mintak kerjasama taska/BS jugak untuk melepaskan diapers. Alhamdulillah cikgu Myra sangat2 ok. Penah sekali terbabas katenye. Kalau yg family jaga, lagi lah senang. No excuse yer. You can do it! Chaiyokk!
